Done in v0.29.0 — pulling from the pantry now records a structured reason: Immediate use / Preserved / Gave away / Waste. It's stored on the log (queryable, so we can actually see eaten-vs-wasted), on both the single-item and bulk 'Pull from pantry' dialogs.
