Summary

Improve mobile experience with responsive design.

Upstream Issues

Problem

Current UI not optimized for mobile. Tables and forms difficult on small screens.

Areas to Improve

1. Navigation

  • Fix hamburger menu positioning (currently floating button)
  • Move menu to header bar
  • Consider bottom nav for mobile
  • Collapsible sidebar

2. Tables

  • Horizontal scroll or card view
  • Hide less important columns
  • Expandable rows for details

3. Forms

  • Full-width inputs on mobile
  • Larger touch targets
  • Stacked layout

4. QR Scanner

  • Full-screen camera on mobile
  • Easy home screen access

5. Quick Actions

  • Mobile-optimized "use spool" flow
  • Large buttons for common actions

Implementation

  • Ant Design responsive breakpoints
  • CSS media queries
  • PWA for "Add to Home Screen"
  • Test various screen sizes
