Summary

Generate printable swatch cards showing all filaments in the database.

Use Case

Create physical reference cards showing available filament colors for:

  • Quick color matching when designing
  • Showing clients color options
  • Physical inventory reference

Proposed Features

1. Swatch Card Layout

  • Grid of color swatches
  • Filament name, material, vendor
  • Optional: remaining amount indicator

2. Export Formats

  • PDF for printing
  • PNG/SVG for digital use
  • STL or G-code for 3D printed cards

3. Customization

  • Filter which filaments to include
  • Sort order (color, vendor, material)
  • Swatch size and layout
  • Include/exclude empty spools

Alternatives

  • The Print Codex (third-party tool)
  • Printables swatch card models
  • Could integrate with label printer
